Sarbjeet Jagdev (UK)

Sarbjeet Jagdev is a man who claims his confusion over his sexuality and inability to confront his belief that he might be transgender led him to view and download approximately 1,400 pornographic images and videos of young children, some as young as two years old.  He admitted to seven counts of possessing indecent images of children and was sentenced to three years in prison by the Leicester Crown Court in May 2017.

However, upon hearing that Jagdev was going through a “gender identity crisis” at the time, Justice Spencer of the London Criminal Appeal Court cut his sentence to two years, noting that he had started to address his offending behavior and stating, “the proper sentence here was two years” under the circumstances.
