Verbal Remedy is a podcast and speech radio project working with “women, young people and minority groups.” Verbal Remedy recently published what purports to be a first-hand account of a person’s experience at the North East Feminist Gathering, a feminist conference that allows Men who identify as Women to attend. The author posits that because some Women rejected their view that transwomen are women, they felt “just as unsafe as (they) would have in a room full of angry, misogynistic men.”
Women can establish whatever boundaries they want. This was a feminist space that allowed both Women and Men who identified as Women. Allowing Men who identify as Women into feminist space does not require other Women to see those people as Women.
