Joshua Zollicoffer is a Man who identifies as a Woman serving a 20-year prison sentence for aggravated kidnapping committed at age 19 with his boyfriend. Zollicoffer claims in a lawsuit that he has been sexually assaulted, physically abused and violently harassed in at least six men’s prisons over a 12-year period while incarcerated. The lawsuit asks that Zollicoffer be lodged in safe quarters for the duration of his incarceration, be provided medical, psychological and counseling services as needed, and awarded compensatory and punitive damages from prison officials listed as defendants. He is represented by Lambda Legal.
