Dan Whitcomb is a reporter for Reuters. He wrote an article covering the guilty plea of Dana McCallum, a Man who identifies as a Woman who was charged with raping his wife. McCallum took a plea deal to avoid a potential rape conviction.  In a stunning article. Whitcomb forgets he is reporting on a rape allegation and instead thinks he is writing a personal ad, as he lets us know McCallum is a “pilot who plays the bass in (his) spare time.”

  1. I’VE LOST ALL RESPECT FOR REUTERS, and just when we think we have seen it all, something else emerges that assaults our senses and common sense. To me, Reuters has just slapped the entire female sex in the face and given it the bird. The fact that women are abused and killed every day means nothing to them. Women are more likely to be killed by an intimate partner than a complete stranger. The victim means nothing to Reuters. Men get away with raping women all the time, especially if they have enough money to hire expensive lawyers. It doesn’t surprise me that this article was written by a man.

McCallum was born MALE, raised and socialized as male, and no doubt took full advantage of his white male privilege to advance his career. From everything that I’ve read, he still had his PENIS when he was charged with three counts of spousal rape. McCallum was charged with five felonies, including three counts of spousal rape, one count of false imprisonment and one count of domestic violence on January 29th. At any rate, in a plea deal, the serious rape charges were dropped, but he accepted a guilty plea for two misdemeanors related to the alleged rape of his wife. The misdemeanors were for one count of domestic violence with corporal injury to the spouse (California penal code 273.5) and one count of false imprisonment (code 236).

Women need to wake up and understand what is happening. Transgender is just another men’s rights cause at its very root and at its core. Female victims are simply swept under the rug, disappeared, and silenced. A wealthy white male charged with raping his wife and abusing her hired a shark of an attorney and plead guilty to the lesser charges of domestic violence and corporal injury to his wife. Nothing new here, but since he is trans, he is now portrayed as some kind of cool, trendy, hero, excuse me heroine. They do pitch a hissy fit if anyone “mis-genders” them, never mind the intact penis and testicles. I agree that the way this particular sad and pathetic article is written, it actually sounds more like a personal ad in which McCallum’s interests and hobbies are listed. See, ‘she’ is also a licensed commercial pilot who plays the bass in her spare time.” Wow, that is impressive, but what does it have to do with the alleged rape charges? Never mind the pesky little three charges of spousal rape in which he was charged with using HIS penis to rape his wife. “She” is really cool and is a pilot who likes to play bass.

There is NO doubt in my mind whatsoever that the wife KNOWS what he is capable of doing, and she KNOWS WHAT HE DID. The woman who accompanied the wife to the hospital KNOWS what McCallum did. Men get by with raping women all the time and most rapes aren’t even reported.

I wish the wife all the best….

Isn’t it true that in the rape charges, McCallum was listed as male. Wasn’t a rape kit used at the hospital, and McCallum still had his PENIS when he was charged with spousal rape?

What does this positively glowing account of McCallum’s hobbies and interests have to do with the rape allegations, and guilty plea of domestic violence and corporal injury to his spouse?

  3. It’s just not the fact that he still had his penis when he was charged with rape. There is also the issue of male socialization in a sexist and misogynistic culture. If a person is born male and raised male in a misogynistic society, how is it possible for him not to be influenced by it? Why is it that 90% of rapists are male, and most violent crime is committed by males? There is something deep and profound going on, and it’s so embedded in our culture that we don’t ever recognized it. How can humans born male, raised as male, suddenly give this up when they “transition”? They magically give up twenty to thirty years of male socialization once they “transition”. No one really believes this, not deep down in their hearts. Anyone who has researched rape know that it’s all about control and domination. Rape is not a sexual act as much as a way to dominate and control.

The wife KNOWS what he did, and she KNOWS it was rape.

To portray this as just a spat, and then glowingly describe McCallum’s hobbies is an insult to the entire female sex. Women need to understand what we are being force fed. It’s been said that transgender disappears the real life experiences of women, and it’s just the good old boy system, albeit in a cool, trendy way.
